Unlike Armenia, Turkish state officials are more intolerant to normalizing bilaterial ties
Certain circles in Armenia oppose to Armenian-Turkish process. They mostly include society representatives and political forces. But the state has a unanimous position on the issue. Armenian political elite acts in support of Armenian-Turkish process, Caucasus Institute Director, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told today a news conference in Yerevan. "Situation in Turkey is quite different. Its state government system and ruling forces are more intolerant to normalizing ties with Armenia. Therefore, Turkish President, Premier and Foreign Minister have to act against the interests of their political elite," Armenian expert stressed.
