SLOVENIA SUPPORTS ARMENIAN POSITION IN KARABAKH CONFLICT
Slovenia agrees with the arguments and approaches of Armenia regarding the Karabakh conflict issue. As «Arminfo» reports, Slovenia's foreign minister Dimitri Rupel, who is in Yerevan with an official visit, stated about this at his meeting with Armenian premier Andranik Markarian. He stated he had had a long and detailed conversation about Karabakh issue with his colleague. Andranik Markarian has highly appreciated impartial policy of Slovenia regarding the conflicts in the South-Caucasian region. The head of the government has noted, in contrast to neighboring Azerbaijan and Turkey, Armenia is ready for cooperation and thinks the strengthening of economic relations will help to settle the conflict through peaceful measures.
