Newly elected mayor of the Californian city Glendale Rafi Manukian has stated about holding of the week of the remembrance of the Armenian genocide victims 21-26 April. 24 April is declared the day of remembrance of the genocide victims. As «Arminfo» reports, during the next week several ceremonies are planned to be held. The ceremony dedicated to 87-th anniversary of the 1915 events will include the demonstration of the film about the genocide and the opening of the art exhibition. The final ceremony will take place April 26 in the city hall.
