ANKARA AGAIN PROPOSES HOLDING TRILATERAL MEETING OF ARMENIAN, AZERI AND TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTERS
Official Ankara has again come out with an initiative to hold a trilateral meeting of Armenian, Azeri and Turkish foreign ministers. According to "Mediamax" agency data, a high-rank representative of the Turkish government has come out with this proposal. He reminded that Turkish Foreign Minister had suggested it a year ago. Official Yerevan had stated in response then that it did not consider holding such a meeting possible, as Turkey continued holding the blockade against Armenia and took a frankly pro-Azeri stand in the Karabakh question. But the situation had slightly changed since then. Let us remind that the Armenian foreign minister lately made a statement on the Armenian leadership intention to activate dialogue with Turkey. Just after that Ankara decided to remind about its initiative.
