"My Dear Brother. Armenians in Turkey 100 years ago" exhibition opens in Yerevan
"My Dear Brother. Armenians in Turkey 100 years ago" exhibition initiated by Civilitas foundation and Turkish Bir Zamanlar publishing house opened in Yerevan on September 15.

The exhibition displays hundreds of postcards by Orlando Calumeno, portraying Armenian people's life in Ottoman empire in 1900-1910.

"Eight cities, including Istanbul hosted the exhibition," said Salbi Ghazarian, executive director of Civilitas foundation.

Bir Zamanlar publishing house owner Osman Koker, the organizer of the exhibition in Istanbul, emphasized that Christians are presented as traitors in Turkish textbooks.

"History is presented from the Turkish point of view. To break the stereotypes, I decided to write a book about the life of Armenians in Turkey 100 years ago," he said.

The exhibition will function till September 28.
