Prosperous and RA leadership have identical position on Armenian Turkish relations
Prosperous Armenia's (PA) position on Armenian-Turkish relations remains unchanged; the party is in support of establishing diplomatic ties without preconditions, PA parliamentary faction's Secretary Aram Safaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent. The party's views, according to him, coincide with Armenian leaderships positions. "We find that there's no alternative to international recognition of Armenian Genocide, and the issue should be a priority task for Armenia's Foreign Ministry. Particularly, during negotiations Armenia should raise a question on the recognition of Armenian Genocide," Safaryan said.

PA parliamentary faction's Secretary stressed the importance of setting time limits for accepting Protocols, "We are perfectly aware that negotiations cannot last forever. But they should depend on domestic situation and a third force. What I mean is Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process. If Yerevan wants to contribute to establishing stability in the region, negotiations should continue. Nevertheless, I don't think Turkey should have mercantile approach to the Protocols and accept them only because US President did not pronounce the term Armenian Genocide in his April 24 address," Aram Safaryan stressed.
