Signed protocols differ from initialed?
Director of the Armenian Center for Basic Sciences, Member of the Defense and National Security Commission of the Public Council Simon Kamsarakan addressed an open letter to the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan in connection with inconsistencies of the Armenian and English versions of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols.

In his opinion, the Armenian version of the initialed protocols substantially differs from already signed protocols, placed on the official website of the ministry of foreign affairs of Armenia. "A simple comparison of the texts makes it clear that this is not a result of inaccurate translation, but an obvious deception," Mr. Kamsarakan said.

According to the letter there are sentences and wording which are absent in the initialed protocols.
According to Mr. Kamsarakan, the process of the six-week discussion of the Protocols is violated in Armenia, and public confidence in the Armenia's leadership is undermined.

Mr.Kamsarakan suggests to the RA President Sargsyan to suspend the next step in the process of ratification of the Protocols, to obligate the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Armenia to publicize a signed version of these documents and in the nearest days to appoint a new six-week discussion on the already signed Protocols.
