Athens to host OSCE Foreign Ministers' non-official meeting
Foreign Ministers from CSTO members states will have a non-formal meeting in Athens, Greece, to coordinate their positions on the clauses of CSTO Foreign Ministers' meeting agenda and exchange views on the key issues concerning CSTO activities.

Event is organized in accordance with CSTO member states' 2009-10 Consultation Plan on Foreign Policy, Security and Defense.

Discussion will be attended by CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bprdyuzha who will leave for Greek capital by the invitation of OSCE Acting Chairman and Greek Foreign Minister George Popandreou.

The meeting will focus on a wide range of issues concerning OSCE's political-military, economic-environmental and humanitarian dimensions.

CSTO member states have prepared a joint statement supporting Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's initiative on elaborating a European Security Treaty. CSTO member states have proposed a draft ministerial declaration on the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II. Respecting the memory of those who died in the war, the document is aimed at suppressing attempts to falsify history, CSTO IPISC office in Yerevan reports.
