RUSSIA NOT GOING TO INCREASE MILITARY PRESENCE IN ARMENIA
Russia is not going to increase its military presence in Armenia. As reported by "Interfax-MNA" agency, first deputy chief of the headquarters of the Russian armed forces Yuri Baluyevsky stated. "According to our estimates, at present the group of Russian troops, interacting with the country armed forces, can secure territorial integrity of Armenia, as well as protect national and strategic interests of Russia in the region," - the general said. Yuri Baluyevsky also denied reports that a number of Russian military units had been moved from Georgia to Armenia.
