Today Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe started work in Strasbourg. PACE Bureau approved of the agenda draft the day before. The final decision is made to discuss the question of political prisoners in Azerbaijan January 24. The hearings will begin 3.00 P.M local time. Let us remind that the Council of Europe notified official Baku at the last week end that if the 11 political prisoners were not released before PACE Bureau today's session, the question would be discussed at the Assembly plenary session.
