Summing up 2009 governmental activities’ results at today’s sitting, Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan specifically noted 4 successful spheres: economic, social, healthcare and police activities.
As the Premier reported, State Revenue Committee managed to significantly decrease payment exceeding in 2009.
Due to fertility promotion state program, this year, birth rate in Armenia grew by 3000 compared with 2008 data.
Unprecedented activities were implemented in social sphere in 2009. Despite 14% economic slump, RA government raised pensions by 16% and social security allowances by 12%. State remuneration for the 3rd child was increased to AMD 300 000. Childcare allowance was set at AMD 18 000 (previously AMD 3000).
Tigran Sargyan emphasized progress in the work of police. “For the first time in 7 years, traffic accidents’ rate was decreased, registering an exceptional index, compared with CIS and international data,” he noted.
