In accordance with the verdict of the Supreme Court of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic former Mayor of Stepanakert, brother of the former Defense Minister of the Republic Karen Babayan accused of official status abuse and illegal storage of weapons and ammunition, was set free yesterday. After considering the barrister appeal the Supreme Court modified the sentence of imprisonment for 5 years and a half passed earlier. The supreme judicial echelon of NKR has condemned Babayan to four years of conditional deprivation of liberty.
