Armenian chess players lost games of the 6th round of Women’s Grand Prix going on in Nalchik.

Defeated by Munguntuul Batkhuyag of Mongolia, Lilit Mkrtchyan is currently the 9th with 2.5 points while Elina Danielyan is the 12th with 1 point after losing a game to China’s Hou Yifan.

Russia’s Tatiana Kosintseva is leading the tournament with 5.5 points.

In the 7th round, Mkrtchyan will play vs. Georgia’s Nana Dzagnidze; Danielyan will rival Zhao Xue.
