BarCamp Artsakh 2010 conference kicked off in Stepanakert on August 11, bringing together about 70 participants from Artsakh and Armenia.

As head of the IT development department at the Artsakh Ministry of Culture Vladimir Grigoryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the main goal of the event is to establish contacts between representatives of youth interested in information technologies.

“We have already received cooperation proposals,” he said.

According to Artsakh Culture Ministry Narine Aghabalyan, IT has been a priority during the past several years. “Its development depends on the interest of the youth,” she noted.
