Izraeli company "LLD Diamond Ltd" intends to give Armenian "Shoghakn" enterprise about $6 million for getting Russian diamonds. Director of diamond processing "Shoghakn" enterprise Sergey Gasparyan has informed journalists about that. He has pointed out that "Shoghakn", which 100% shares belong to "LLD Diamond Ltd", intends to get 34000 carats of diamonds. As "Arka" agency informs, this is the quota of the enterprise from total volume of Russian natural diamonds, which will be given to Armenia in 2001. The director of the enterprise pointed out that the processing of Russian diamonds will let them have 150 workers in addition to 550 workers that they have. It should be reminded that according to the agreement "LLD Diamond Ltd" has to invest $2.265 million into the enterprise for 2.5 years. The agreement stipulates that in 30 months 1330 workers will be employed with the minimal salary of $300.
