Armenia 2.5:1.5 Poland at World Chess Olympiad

The Armenian men team defeated Poland in the 8th round of the World Chess Olympiad due to Gabriel Sargissian’s victory over Bartlomiej Macieja.

The other three games ended in a draw. Specifically, Armenia’s Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian and Arman Pashikian tied their games with Radoslaw Wojtaszek, Bartosz Socko and Kamil Miton respectively.

Gabriel Sargissian won the victorious point for Armenia, making the score 2.5:1.5.
