On September 30-October 1, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bratislava and Armenian Ombudsman’s Office organised the first regional meeting between national institutes of ombudsmen of Caucasus and Central Asia.

The Aghveran -hosted conference was entitled Minorities Rights and Gender Equality Stimulation – Independent National Institutes for Human Rights Protection.

Caucasus and Central Asia ombudsmen, as well as representatives of national institutes of human rights protection and UNDP were invited to participate, Armenian Ombudsman’s press service reported.
