Galati, Geneva and Washington mark Armenia’s Independence Day

On October 1, Galati city (Romania) hosted an exhibition dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day.

Following the exhibition, Armenia’s Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan met with Mayor of Galati Dumitru Nicolae to discuss maintenance of Armenian spiritual and educational institutions, as well as cooperation with the Armenian embassy.

On September 30, Geneva hosted a reception to mark Armenia’s Independence Day. The event brought together Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour and representatives of the Armenian community.

The same day, a reception dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day was organized in the Armenian Embassy in Washington DC with participation of numerous countries ambassadors, high-ranking officials of the U.S. Department of State and White House, as well as representatives of various institutions, the RA MFA press service reported.
