THE GOVERNMENT OF THE IRAN PROVINCE EAST AZERBAIJAN IS INTERESTED IN THE COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA
On 11, July, the minister of industry and sale Karen Chshmarityan received the governor of the East Azerbaijan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran Yakhay Mokhmmad Zade and the members of the delegation headed by him. The governor stated that for the last 6 months the number of the cargo transportations from Armenia to Tebris had increased, the air track Yerevan-Tebriz was set up, the number of the Armenian-Iran joint enterprises had increased and achieved already 416. At the same time, the governor considered the Iran investment level to Armenia was not enough.
The volume of the Iran investment has not achieved $1 million yet. The governor especially pointed out the cooperation with the chemical enterprise "Nairit". He offered to look for ways of the cooperation with the petroleum chemical complex in the province Eastern Azerbaijan and for the setting up a joint enterprise. At the meeting the Governor offered to form a joint chamber of Sale and Industry and the two-country union of businessmen. Th initiative was favored with the minister's approval.
