Armenia’s Levon Aronian went up to the second place in the world chess rankings, leaving behind world champion Viswanathan Anand.
The top three are: Magnus Carlsen (2811,5), Levon Aronian (2801,4) and Viswanathan Anand (2801).
Anand and Carlsen are currently participating in an international tournament in China¸ so their ratings can change any moment.
The new official rating will be published by FIDE on November 1, armchess.am reported.
