THE DEFENSE MINISTER OF TURKEY WILL LEAVE FOR TBILISI
. Tomorrow Defense Minister of Turkey Sabahatin Cakmatoglu will arrive in Tbilisi on a three-day state visit. This is the first visit of Turkish military leader of such rank to Georgia. The meetings of Cakmatoglu with President Eduard Shevadrnadze, State Minister Giya Arsenishvili, Defense Minister David Bevzadze are planned, during which the prospects of
intensification of partnership of the two countries in military arena will be discussed.
Let us remind that Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian has lately declared that the Armenian leadership is worried about the developing military partnership between Tbilisi and Ankara, which results in daily growing dependence of Georgia on Turkey.
