On November 16, Armenian parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the German Ambassador to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt.

The parties gave high assessment to bilateral cooperation level, specifically noting trade and economic cooperation. Currently, 80 companies with German capital are operating in Armenia.

The importance of interparliamentary ties, as well as cooperation within EU framework was mutually emphasized, parliamentary press service reported.
