Goddess of Pop, Cher (born Cherilyn Sarkisian), was immortalized on Hollywood Boulevard when she sunk her hands and feet into the cement in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
In a conversation with Voice of America reporter, the singer shared views on her national identity. “I didn’t know I was Armenian up until 11 when I came to know my father. Still, only my fist visit to Armenia helped me feel an Armenian. I was glad to visit my country and help people in Karabakh war years,” she said.
