There can’t be a free Europe without a peaceful and lasting solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek said.
“Regarding the breakaway regions such as Transniеstria, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, I would like to remind that the EU unequivocally supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Moldova and Georgia," he said in an interview with RFE/RL.
"We cannot say that we live in a united and free Europe until resolving these problems and finding a peaceful and lasting solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," Buzek stated, adding that that these areas “are a matter of great concern for the EU”, Trend News reported.
