During his speech at the meeting of the committee on the Armenia- Eurounion cooperation, Karen Chshmarityan, the minister of industry and sale, stated that the Metsamor APS closing was possible if alternative energy resources existed. According to his words, at the discussion of the perspective of the closing of atomic station was stated the necessity of financial plan development for that step. Minister also stated, that a working group existed on APS problems, that would be able to report research results in 2001, September-October. As "Arka" inform-agency informs, Eurounion will give Armenia 30-60 million Euro for ensuring the security of Armenian APS.
