Chief Actuary of INGO-Armenia company said that by the number of sold policies of the mandatory vehicle insurance the company covers 20% of Armenia’s market.

“As of January 18, 2011, the company received 240 calls about car accidents. Currently, 45 applications are being considered. Compensations at the amount of AMD 4mln have already been paid for 25 insured accidents,” Zaimtsyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

As for the general indices of the market, according to the expert, the number of insured cars will make 320-350,000 in Armenia soon against the current 260,000 cars.

Answering a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question, Zaimtsyan said that growth in sale of hull insurance policies was also recorded with respect to introduction of the mandatory vehicle insurance.
