On February 16-17, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will be on an official visit to Armenia at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.

Jiechi is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Yang Jiechi will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial to lay a wreath.

Possibilities to boost Armenian-Chinese relations, as well as a range of regional and international problems will be discussed during the visit, the RA MFA press service reported.
