The political crisis in Iran will not affect development of the Armenian-Iranian economic cooperation, Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources said.

“Armenia and Iran are implementing a number of joint energy programs, including construction of Meghri hydropower plant, oil-pipeline and railway,” Armen Movsisyan told journalists in Yerevan.

He also informed that over a half of the third Armenia-Iran high-voltage power line will be built by the end of 2011. The project is estimated at euro 100-105 million.
