Recent events in Egypt advantageous to Iran

Recent events in Egypt, which caused destabilization of the whole Arabic world, are advantageous to Iran, indefinitely delaying the possibility of U.S. and Israel’s attack on the country, according to deputy director of Noravank foundation.

As Sevak Sarukhanyan told a news conference in Yerevan, preventing riots in other pro-western Arabic states is currently of priority concern to the U.S.

“The downfall of Mubarak’s regime came as a “symbolic and ideological” victory of Iran, Mubarak being against Islamic direction of Iran’s development,” he remarked, further dwelling on current issues between Sunnites and Shiite Iran.
