USA WORKS "VERY CLOSELY" WITH RUSSIA AND FRANCE ON KARABAKH PROBLEM, STATE DEPARTMENT SPOKESMAN SAYS
YEREVAN, March 29. /Mediamax/. The official representative of the U.S. State Department Richard Boucher said the Karabakh is an important problem that "had beset" the region for a long time.
Boucher stressed that the USA had been working very intensely on this for years, together with Russia and France.
"The Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan have met Jacques Chirac in Paris. We have been working with Russia and France very closely to bring the process forward. At this point the next step is to get Presidents face to face and talk about how to reach a settlement, and we are going to do it in Key West," Boucher said.
The meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Key West (Florida, USA) will start on 3 April. It is supposed to last till 6 April. --0--
