HEAD OF ARMENIAN CHURCH IS PLEASED BY "CAREFUL ATTITUDE" OF GEORGIAN AUTHORITIES
YEREVAN, March 28. /Mediamax/. The Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II said at today's meeting with the Georgian Foreign Minister Irakly Menagarishvili that he is pleased with the "careful attitude" of the Georgian leadership to Armenian cultural and spiritual values and Armenians, living in Georgia.
As Mediamax was informed in the press office of Holy Echmiadzin, head of the Armenian Apostolic Church especially singled out the decision of Georgian authorities to restore Armenian churches Karmir Avetaran and Khojivank.
Irakly Menagarishvili assured the Catholicos that despite the financial hardships Georgia does everything possible to preserve Armenian cultural and spiritual values. -0-
