Director of the Center of Armenian Noncommercial Cinema (CANC) Artashes Hovanessian said that Armenia will host the first Festival of Non-Commercial Independent Cinema on May 28-30.
Applications for participation in the festival will be accepted until May 15.

Films will be assessed in three categories: basic category (1-10 minute duration), one-minute films and student films.
The jury will include well-known filmmakers. The best five films will participate in UNICA (International Union of Non-Professional Cinema) international festival due August 20-28 in Luxemburg.
The CANC unites all amateur filmmakers of Armenia.
