Armenian Embassy in Japan will continue its work in the country, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan told PanARMENIAN.Net.

25 countries including Germany, Finland and Switzerland have closed down their representations in Tokyo after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear reactor crisis in Japan, Japanese Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto stated.

According to Mr. Matsumoto, 8 countries re-opened their representations outside Tokyo, while others evacuated their diplomats from the country, Lenta.ru reported.
