Member of Sardarapat movement Zhirayr Sefilyan said that the Armenian people “should use democratic tools to oust the current authorities, but these should not be extra or ordinary elections.”
“Since people have been deprived of the power, they have the right to take to the streets and force the authorities to leave, while it is not necessary that their number reaches 100,000,” noted Sefilyan.
According to him, Sardarapat is against violence and bloodshed, but if force is applied against people, they have the right to protect themselves.
If the Armenian opposition fails to make authorities resign, Sardarapat movement will do it shortly, Sefilyan concluded.
