No one will support Baku if it starts war, Azerbaijani diplomat says

The recent events in Middle East temporarily pushed the Karabakh issue to the background, according to the 1994-2001 Azerbaijan’s permanent representative to UN, All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress CEO.

As Eldar Guliyev stated, no country in the world would like to take sides with Azerbaijan if it starts a new war.

“Oncoming presidential elections in Russia and U.S. clearly indicate that no progress in Karabakh issue is to be expected, what with Obama’s setting high hopes on the Armenian electorate,” he said.

He emphasized that no superpower will support Azerbaijan’s intention to start a war, unwilling to have another hot spot on the world map.
