Within the framework of her visit to Yerevan, the President of OSCE-chairing Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite discussed conducting of a stress test at Armenian NPP. The idea was triggered by recent disaster at Japan’s Fukushima power plant.

“Europe is striving to provide high nuclear safety standards. The test initiated at all European NPPs will increase security measures, also strengthening trust between the countries,” she noted.

“As it was made clear during the discussion of the issue, Armenia is also ready for a stress test,” Lithuania President said.
