The authorities’ promises for changes are mere words, leader of Heritage parliamentary group said.

“What is going now is an imitation of reform,” Stepan Safaryan told journalists in Yerevan.

He reminded of the reluctance to call to account the police officers who used force against the party members and protesters on March 3 as well as the corruption accusations brought against Tigran Postanjyan, the brother of Heritage party member, Zaruhi Postanjyan.

The clash between the police, Heritage members and street traders took place on March 3 in Yerevan, when the people protesting the street trade ban were not allowed to approach the government building.
