On May 7, Tbilisi will host the 1st tour of European Individual Women’s Championship 2011. The opening of the championship was held on May 6.At the championship, Armenia is represented by 9 chess players: Elina Danielian, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Lilit Galoyan, Nelli Aghinyan, Lia Martirosyan, Anna Hayrapetyan, Anahit Kharatyan and Maria Gevorgyan.

The competition, hosting 132 chess players from 26 countries, will take place on May 6 through 19.
