FRONTIER TRADE MARKET TO OPEN IN MEGHRI ON FEBRUARY 3
24.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The frontier Armenian-Iranian trade market in Meghri will resume its activity on February 3.
As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the government of Armenia, Armenian PM Andranik Margarian and the Iranian Minister for finance and economy Hussein Namazi stated this at the meeting in Yerevan. Mr. Namazi is the co-chairman of the Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental coordination commission, which meets today in the Armenian capital.
The Armenian PM noted that "being strategic partners, Armenia and Iran should strive for closest cooperation in the economic sphere". In his turn the Iranian Minister said there is great potential for increasing the goods circulation between the two countries. --0--
