Argentina’s David Nalbandian dropped one position (1425 points) to find himself 23rd in the men’s tennis rankings released by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) on May 23, 2011.
Nalbandian has been handed a wildcard for the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club in June. The Argentine, 29, has missed much of the season due to injury and will skip the French Open because of a virus that has caused him to lose weight. The Aegon Championships takes place between June 6-12.
Spaniard Rafael Nadal continues to top the rankings with 12070 points, followed by Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 11665 points) and Roger Federer (Switzerland, 8390 points).
