A member of Armenian National Congress (ANC), Haykakan Zhamanak daily editor-in-chief Nikol Pashinyan believes comparison between his authority and that of ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian to be an overstatement. “I'm glad to be assessed so highly; it’s an honour for a politician to have one's authority compared to that of Ter- Petrossian,” he told a news conference in Yerevan.

Commenting on possible change of generations in ANC, Pashinyan noted, “there's no need in change of generations, as representatives of all generations in Congress work harmoniously enough. I don't see this happening in near future,” he stressed.
