While most people are likely waiting for Dell to release a 10-inch tablet, the U.S. company is cooking up something new with a smaller form factor, a device boasting a 7-inch touchscreen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard 'optimized' for thumb typing, according to TechConnect Magazine.
Dell's prototype 7-inch tablet also has rear- and front-facing cameras, and not much else. At least nothing obvious because there's no way to take a look inside the device to see what hardware it packs. One might guess it has a dual-core processor, some NAND Flash chips, 512MB/1GB of RAM and a bit of WiFi.
