The group will unite with Eduard Topchjan and Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra for many pieces including the Armenian premiere of Dream and a Song by Colin Britt. “To me, this piece expressed our chorus’s optimism that singing together can change lives for the better,” said Jeffrey Douma, Music Director of Yale Alumni Chorus.
Additionally, the groups will perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ magnificent cantata Dona Nobis Pacem. This piece has captivated audiences all over the world. The entire piece presents a vision of harmony and friendship among the nations of the world.
