During his visit to Georgia, All Armenian Catholicos Karekin II visited Tbilisi-based Holy Trinity Cathedral, where he was welcomed by the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II and members of Holy Synod.

At the meeting, the Catholicos-Patriarch expressed hope for Karekin II’s visit to promote strengthening of fraternal ties between Armenian and Georgian nations.

Karekin II has arrived in Georgia to discuss further cooperation and promote resolution of unsettled issues, Georgia Online reported.
