The Arab Republic of Egypt is interested in the establishment of stability in South Caucasus as a part of security of the whole region, and reaffirms its position, stressing the importance of peaceful settlement of disputes in accordance with principles of international law and in the context of international legality, the country’s embassy in Azerbaijan reported.

Egypt is pursuing closely the ongoing efforts to solve the Karabakh conflict, specifically the OSCE Minsk Group efforts in this direction. Egypt is looking forward for the success of these efforts to solve the conflict and to achieve peace in accordance with the relevant resolutions of UN Security Council, the statement reads, according to Today.az.
