ARMENIAN PRESIDENT IS THREATENED BY DANGER, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN SAIS
07.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenian President Robert Kocharian is threatened by danger, a deputy of the Armenian parliament, colonel in reserve of the National Security of Armenia Gurgen Yeghiazarian told in an interview to "Golos Armenii" daily.
According to Yeghiazarian there is a certain scenario: "after the failed attempts to remove Kocharian from his post by accusing him in complicity with the October 27 of 1999 act of terrorism, now Kocharian is tried to be accused in attempts to accept the plan on territorial swap with Azerbaijan." Deputy Yeghiazarian expressed concern that if these plans are failed the version of physical removal of Kocharian may be used.
According to parliamentarian, on October 27 of 1999 the terrorists headed by Nairi Hunanian did not manage to "entrap the President to the session hall of the parliament and to murder him thus finishing the operation. I am afraid that other persons will do that," Gurgen Yeghiazarian stressed. -0--
