Argentina’s David Nalbandian, who dropped to the 48th place in the ATP rankings, will face Japan’s Kei Nishikori in the first round of the 2011 Cincinnati Masters | Western & Southern Open.
The tournament is a dual-gender ATP and WTA tournament that takes place from August 15 to August 21. The men’s event has a total financial commitment of $3.2 million with the winner getting $450,000 plus 1000 ranking points. The women’s event has a total cash prize pool of $2,050,000.
The defending champions are Roger Federer of Switzerland and Kim Clijsters of Belgium.
