RNK PRESIDENT PARDONED 11 CONVICTED
31.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The president of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh Arkady Ghukasian signed today an order pardoning 11 accused.
As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the president of RNK, when making this decision the hard family condition of the convicted, the fact that they have served half of their sentence, the positive characteristics from the places of their imprisonment and other circumstances were considered. Partial amnesty was granted to 4 convicted.
Considering the severity and danger of the crimes committed 8 convicted were refused to be given amnesty. -0-
