During the military parade on September 21, 2011, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Armenia the fighting capacity of the army and the military hardware acquired over the past 20 years will be demonstrated, RA Minister of Defense stated

“This parade will be a proper response to that held in Azerbaijan,” Seyran Ohanyan told journalists in Noemberyan, Tavush province of Armenia.

“Military parade doesn’t reflect fighting capacity of army,” he emphasized. “Armenia has already shown in Karabakh war that the quantity of armament is not what matters.”
