CIS leaders sign air defence agreement

Following a Dushanbe-hosted summit, CIS leaders signed an agreement on establishment of Commonwealth states’ air defense duty in case of plane hijacking.

A document commemorating heroism of the people of CIS states in WWII years was also signed.

At September 3 summit in Tajikistan, CIS leaders discussed further development of Commonwealth states as well as urgent international issues. The summit was headed by Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, RIA Novosti reported.
